Aquatic pond plants, useful planting, flowering information

Aquatic pond plants are essential components of most water garden ponds. Choosing the correct aquatic pond plants can be difficult.

The working spreadsheet below can be obtained by completing the simple survey in the Water Gardens Gazette.

It is in Excel format and covers 90 different aquatic and bog/marginal plants... You can sort by colour, size location etc.

The spreadsheet will be sent to you upon receipt of your survey information.

If you don't have Excel you can get a copy in pdf format ... you can then use it to sort the columns in your preferred order as you would be able to do in Excel. The information is however complete.

The different columns in the spreadsheet include the fields below

Location, Latin name, Common name, Sun or shade preference, Flowering time, Colour of flower, Maximum height at maturity, Depth of water required where necessary
